BEEF
All of our cattle are raised free of hormones and antibiotics. Grass fed beef is leaner and typically has a more game-like or "farm" taste to it. The cattle feed off of native grasses in the winter through early summer. When the weather becomes hot and native grasses become more scarce, their feed is supplemented with spent beer mash. Due to seasonality, you may find that the flavor of the beef may change during different times of the year because of the different feed. This is common with all grass fed beef.
You will find that our beef has a much more rich taste and flavor, which typically means you will eat smaller portions and feel more satisfied. You will also find that all the cuts are more lean than corn finished beef.
